Everything You Need for a (Mostly) Stress Free Lake Vacation with Your Little Ones

After debating life jackets and puddle jumpers and my baby refusing both, we tried this little Cozy Coupe float that my sister in law had bought on a whim. It's an affordable and toddler-friendly option, but remember to keep a hand on it as it can tip over if your child leans too far to touch the water. 
3. Self-Controlled Bubbles: Bubbles are a great way to keep your toddler entertained. A child can control this set by a push of a button with self-loading bubbles, which was a hit with our independent little one.
4. Fold-Up Camper Chair: A fold-up camper chair is perfect for little ones to have their own seat by the lake. It’s portable, easy to set up, and makes them look like their tailgating, which always cracks me up.
5. Inflatable Obstacle Course Baby Pool: While the lake is great for family fun, an inflatable obstacle course pool provides a safe and contained area for toddlers to splash around. It’s a relief for parents who can relax a bit while keeping an eye on their child in a controlled environment, while they get a little taste of independence.
6. Patience You can buy all of the latest gadgets, but nothing will impact your vacation more than your vibe. With all the chaos and overstimulation, I can't stress enough how important it was for us to spend some time, even just five minutes here and there, outside of the group. We'd often just take our son outside to appreciate our rental home's landscaping or feel the cool grass underfoot and taking that time to step away was more impactful than any single thing I bought!
